Project Overview

The Town of Van Buren is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan, which will serve as a blueprint for land use, housing, transportation, economic development, and quality of life over the next 10–15 years. The plan reflects the community’s vision and values and will guide how the Town grows and evolves while protecting its unique assets.

The community survey has closed, and a summary of the results is available below. Building on that input, draft goals, objectives, and recommended projects have been developed and are now being shared for public review.

A public workshop is being held on April 8th to present the draft recommendations and gather feedback on priorities and next steps. Additional opportunities to provide input, including online engagement tools, are also available.
